Our journey together: improving our estate
Central Residents began with a simple yet powerful vision: to improve our estate's appearance and tidiness, making it a more beautiful place for everyone. We've worked tirelessly to build strong relationships with Hartlepool Borough Council (HBC) and the Thirteen housing group, ensuring our collective voice is heard. Our efforts include bringing community buildings back into use, creating engaging events like kids' tabletop sales, coffee mornings, and afternoon teas, and supporting our older residents, while also helping young people find enriching activities.
Our biggest dream: building a resilient community
At the heart of everything we do is the dream to build a resilient community. We achieve this by actively sharing and finding resources that benefit all residents. Our mission is simple: we’re neighbors helping neighbours build a kinder, greener, and more connected place to live. By working together, we empower each other to overcome challenges and create lasting positive change for the Central area.
